Moo Moo has just been awarded the Gold Coast’s Best Steak Restaurant award for the fourth year in a row and also holds the title of Queensland’s Best Steak Restaurant 2008.
In November last year, Moo Moo had a full refurbishment and welcomed new executive Chef Philip Edwards to the team. With Philip’s unprecedented talent in crafting amazing meals and owner Steven Adams’ passion for sourcing only the best quality beef, Moo Moo recently launched a brand new menu.
Moo Moo serves progressive Modern Australian cuisine specialising in premium export quality beef. The new specialty steak menu offers some of the best cuts of beef available in the country including F1 Wagyu Sirloin, Rump + Rib Fillet; Cape Grim Tenderloin + Scotch Fillet; Rangers Valley Scotch Fillet and Dry Aged Rib Eye on the Bone, Sirloin on the Bone and T-Bone.
A favourite is The Moo Moo Signature Dish – The Spice Rubbed 1KQ Wagyu Rump Roast which is rubbed w. chef’s secret spice rub, sealed until smokey on the char-grill and oven roasted to your liking. The 1KQ Wagyu beef is served with wild rocket, parmesan + fig salad, chunky roasted kipfler potatoes w. rosemary + garlic + a trio of chef’s sauce selections. Moo Moo is also one of a select number of licensed restaurants in the country serving Master Kobe Beef.
Situated overlooking the park in the heart of Broadbeach, Moo Moo is a favourite for locals as well as interstate and international visitors to the Gold Coast.

- Chef: Philip Edwards – Executive Chef – Philip has trained and led some of Australia’s finest kitchens. Starting his career at Melbourne’s Two Faces, Philip then worked at Victoria’s award winning fine dining restaurant Jacques training under Jacques Reymond. Sous Chef roles at other Victorian favourites’ est est est and Ondine followed until a warmer climate beckoned and Philip spent three years as Chef de Cuisine at Vie Restaurant ,Palazzo Versace. From the glitz and glamour of a six-star resort hotel, Philip then took up the role of Executive Chef at Songbird’s in the Gold Coast Hinterland. While at Songbird’s, Philip worked closely with owner Bonnie Rodwell and while there, the restaurant won many awards including being named 2006 Gold Coast Restaurant of the Year.
